Jasmine is also the King of Flowers

Jasmine - Jasminum Grandliflorum L. Oleaceae is in the olive family and an evergreen shrub. A climber from the subtropics and adapted to the Mediterranean climate. Flowers are gathered at night because the scent is most intense in the night.
Know your notes: Top, middle, and base. Jasmine on top, Lavender in the middle and vetiver is the base note. Jasmine is a strong romantic, potent floral scent. I used Lavender to soften the ‘Queen of the night’ and vetiver to ground this blend. Jasmine is ‘The Queen of the Night’ and The King of Flowers. Jojoba oil as a carrier oil. Research studies are limited. Actions of Jasmine are helpful in releasing Serotonin the feel good hormone. Relaxing and emotionally warming Jasmine (neat) can be used via olfaction in a diffuser or nebulizer for acute depression. In a more recent pilot study, people with generalized anxiety disorder were asked to inhale jasmine essential oil for 5 minutes a day for ten days. Participants experienced a calmer state of mind, and reported improvement in symptoms such as insomnia and irritability. Use for the winter blues, on contracted limbs and as a mosquito repellant.

My experience is that Jasmine allows for a quick opening of the senses and it opens me to the beauty and expansion of my perception or lack of. Build your sense of smell through olfaction via palming and inhaling gently and then deeply up to three times. Apply on pulse points. Patch test on the inner wrist if particularly sensitive. Be intuitive and luxuriate.
